We are open all year round.
The Don is easily accessible from the town centre, about half a mile.
Parking is limited, so it is best to arrive and check in, and then we will show you where to park. There is a small car-park
about 50yds away. Road side parking is on a steep hill.
The Don is at street level (with wonderful views to the rear), so easily accessible for the less mobile. One of our rooms
is downstairs with a shower room, this is a large room and could accommodate a wheelchair, however the entrance doors to The
Don are not quite wide enough for wheelchair access (700mm). The guest lounge and dining room are all on the ground floor
level. Our other rooms are upstairs and therefore not suited to disabled parties. Rooms are not adapted specifically for
the disabled , however grab rails and non slip mats are available.
Assistance Dogs are welcome.
Public transport is excellent in Blaenau Ffestiniog and the local bus network stops just outside The Don. There is a
mainline BR station 5 minutes walk away or the steam railway. There is a local taxi service.
Walkers can be dropped off/picked up at start/finish points by arrangement.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Credit card details are required in order to confirm the booking. In the event of credit card details not available,
a cheque deposit equivalent to 1 nights stay will be required. Rooms will not be confirmed until this is received. Deposits
are not refundable. We reserve the right to debit credit cards and take full payment of the booking for cancellations within
1 week of arrival date, or in the event of a no-show.

We accept no liability for any damage/loss to vehicles or property while staying at The Don
